A Few Needlecases

I had a comment from Stitchety Grub saying that she collects needlecases. Being the big showoff that I am I had to put a picture here of some of the needlecases I've made recently. I really don't know how many I must have made but they are just perfect for when you want to do just a small piece of embroidery. Sewing accessories make lovely gifts for stitching friends too. The tiny needle cases are from a tutorial here.

Hi Ann
These are gorgeous ... I love the little ones and have bookmarked the page with the tutorial. A couple of years ago when I went back to the UK I made half a dozen fabric needle cases as gifts in "Australiana fabrics" and they are such a great gift and take up hardly any room in the suitcase! I am visiting the UK again next year in august and intend on making and taking some more.

Gorgeous! You do such lovely embroidery work, Ann. I'm always impressed. And I agree with you about sewing curtains - the fabric seems to go on and on forever. I'm so glad to be done!

I'm so glad you liked the shortcake. The only thing I was missing with mine was the cream you had with yours - yummy! I would love for you to post the recipe you used for your jam - with instructions because I've never made jam before. :) Sounds delicious.
