Wednesday

There's not much going on around here lately.  I've been doing a bit of sewing, a bit of card making, sending Christmas cards, Christmas decorating and that's about it, apart from the usual housework type things.  So, there aren't really any craft/baking/gardening pictures to show.

Yesterday I did get a nice bunch of flowers from my son and daughter-in-law, beautiful colours.

And Graham bought this lovely half cheesecake from the Cheesecake Shop
Well it was my birthday!!!

Must be the time of year that's putting me off a bit.  And the weather, it's been so dull and the daylight hours seem very short, not good enough light for any embroidery.

I know my craft room could do with a good reorganisation again - it's in a right mess, things out everywhere.  Even after my big cull earlier this year I still have too much stuff for the size of the room.  After Christmas I'll spend some time tidying it up again, until then I'll just ignore it!!!

Hi Ann, the flowers and cheesecake are quite spendid...hope your Birthday was equally splendid! There used to be a saying "if winters here, can spring be far behind?" Let's hope the cheeriness of spring comes early this year...to give you and everyone some much needed cheer! Even though I just moved I find I still have "stuff" to pass on/recycle, papers I need to go through and shred (I do hate having to shred, it's time consuming and I don't believe it keeps criminals from finding out everything they want to about me).
Here I was trying to cheer you and all I'm doing is depressing us both...LOL Hugs, Theanne

Hi Ann, Wishing you a very belated birthday and I hope you had a great day!Being able to buy half a cheesecake is a good idea.
Thank you for your lovely card and the flirty pink apron!I love it, I can see first hand how an apron should be made!
WE have 6 ins of snow here now, all fell in about an hour and stayed on the ground causing havoc.

Happy Belated Birthday, Ann! That cheesecake looks divine and those flowers are absolutely gorgeous. Isn't it nice to be pampered a bit? I know what you mean about these darker days. I've recently added fermented cod liver oil to my diet and it's helping tremendously with my mood. We really do miss that vit D from the sunlight during these colder, shorter days.
